till death do we part

"till death do us part" is a phrase much to cruel. 
we pay what we owe, we vow our "i do's" 
by counting our days that we live together 
we fear whats to come and our ties to be severed. 
our love is too bright for a future so grim,
a shadow hung over the veil of sins
if we accept whats to come we lose what we gain
our memories get lost in the cold of the rain, 
chained against the grave of painful desire,
but to say theres no hope is the fate of a liar. 
you look for an answer, but in all the wrong places
sometimes help comes from the strangest of faces.
the face of death, the one that you fear, outstretches a hand and tells you "my dear...
Its much too early for you to retire, your loved one wont be there when you finally expire, 
but if you wish very deeply, i can give him back, but the price you pay will be my contract. 
if you sign for this now you return to the living, but at the end of your lives you will do my bidding.
as demons you will be cursed with eternal life, a small price to pay yes for a relinquished 'good bye?'" 
"I have nothing to lose and i offer my heart. I will dance with the devils if death do us part."
